Christopher J Simpson, from the The Contemporary Theater Company in Rhode Island, will be teaching an improv workshop on positivity and connectedness at Improv Chattanooga!
Space is limited to 16 participants! (13 spots left!) So, be sure to get your tickets now, using the "Find Tickets" link above.
Here's what Christopher says about the workshop:
Conflict is a familiar and important element to navigate in our improvised stories. However, scenes (and especially scene-starts) without negativity allow tremendous freedom and excitement to develop.
By working on the skills to start positive and connected scenes, we open our work to effortless inspiration for ourselves and our fellow performers.
These skills are endlessly transferable to improv of all styles and lengths. Even conflict-enamored improvisors will benefit from a better understanding of their anti-style. Push your limits in a positive direction and learn new skills and exercises to bring back to your group."

"This was one of the best workshop I have attended since I discovered [improv]... [Chris] was prepared, patient, kind, flexibile and resourceful. He used the time efficiently and it was very clear that he enjoys teaching. Chris was a gentle and positive instructor. I hope this workshop will be repeated in the future."
